Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Communications Specialist / Project Manager with a minimum of three years of experience in public relations, journalism, or a related field. This part-time role presents an exciting opportunity to develop, execute, and manage dynamic public relations strategies and communication tools across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute public relations strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Create engaging content for print materials, including brochures, flyers, and newsletters.
  • Design and manage multimedia presentations, social media posts, and other digital communications.
  • Write, edit, and deliver high-quality written materials with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Utilize social media platforms and graphic design tools to amplify client messaging.
  • Manage websites using platforms such as WordPress and newsletter tools like Constant Contact.
  • Collaborate with teams using file-sharing tools (Dropbox, Google Drive, SharePoint) to organize and share project assets effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with website management platforms (e.g., WordPress) and email marketing tools (e.g., Constant Contact).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and graphic design software.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to communications and project management.

Location:

This position serves clients in Northwest Florida, including Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, and Bay counties.

Compensation:

$25–$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
