We are seeking a motivated and reliable Communications Specialist / Project Manager with at least three years of experience in public relations, journalism, or a related field. This part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to create and implement diverse public relations plans and communication tools across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute public relations strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Create engaging content for print materials, including brochures, flyers, and newsletters.
  • Design and manage multimedia presentations, social media posts, and other digital communications.
  • Write, edit, and deliver high-quality written materials with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Utilize social media platforms and graphic design tools to amplify client messaging.
  • Manage websites using platforms such as WordPress and newsletter tools like Constant Contact.
  • Collaborate with teams using file-sharing tools (Dropbox, Google Drive, SharePoint) to organize and share project assets effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with website management platforms (e.g., WordPress) and email marketing tools (e.g., Constant Contact).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and graphic design software.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

This position serves clients in Northwest Florida, including Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, and Bay counties.

Compensation:

$25–$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
