ABC Group served as the public information consultant for this project that improved safety on Cervantes Street, between A and Dominquez Streets, located in the heart of Pensacola.   The ABC Team was responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive community awareness plan that included social media, media relations, community outreach, and direct communication with geographical stakeholders. 

This project required extensive grassroots outreach to reach the underserved and multi-lingual communities.  One strategy was the use of “pop-up” style meetings which we set up in high-traffic locations and community events. We provided information and an opportunity for stakeholders to ask questions and provide feedback.  

Other grass-roots strategies include communicating through the local schools, churches, sports, and recreational venues, HOAs, and other community groups and gathering locations. 

Our team also developed multi-lingual collateral materials and shared them via social media and email.  We also delivered them in person to the appropriate locations for these communities.
