Northwest Florida Sunguide “Intelligent Transportation System” Center
ABC Group provided public information support for a district-wide effort to install the fiber optic infrastructure for a high-speed communication network along a 158-mile section of Interstate 10 from State Road 87 in Santa Rosa County to U.S. 90 in Gadsden County. The second spur of the system included 56-miles along U.S. 231 from Bay County to the Alabama state line. Work included coordination with elected officials in each of the communities, development of informational videos promoting the benefits of the project, and planning for an open house at the new FDOT District 3 SunGuide headquarters in Chipley, Fla.
