U.S. 98 widening

ABC Group is providing public information support for the $110 million U.S. 98 widening project in Bay County. The project will expand the heavily traveled roadway from four to six lanes between Mandy Lane and Richard Jackson Boulevard in Panama City Beach.

The ABC Group team is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive community awareness plan that includes identifying key stakeholders, establish branding and messaging, coordinating public information open houses and other special events, managing social and earned media, and developing collateral materials.

To keep the rapidly growing Panama City Beach community informed, it is important that the team provide accurate, timely, and consistent communication with the active stakeholders. Emphasis is placed on notifying commuters and adjacent property owners about changes to the vehicular traffic, bicycle, and pedestrian routes during construction.
