U.S. 98 Construction Projects,
Okaloosa and Walton Counties, FL

ABC Group has been providing public information support for a multiyear effort to improve travel along U.S. 98 in Okaloosa and Walton Counties. The team has developed and implemented comprehensive community awareness plans for multiple FDOT projects in an ongoing effort to provide accurate, timely, and consistent project information for the many residents and visitors who vacation in the area each year.

Work along this busy U.S. 98 corridor requires extensive interactions with the local tourism industry, adjacent hotels and condominiums, bicycle and pedestrian groups, and nearby homeowner associations. ABC Group personnel has performed door-to-door canvasses throughout the multiple work zones to communicate face-to-face with geographic stakeholders about items of interest and concern, any access management modifications, and driveway access for commercial properties.

Additionally, the ABC team cultivates community connections using print and digital notification materials, news releases, e-newsletters, and social media project updates.
